During the week of June 22-28, 2008 I attended a reunion of Christian disciples at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. It was a week of praising Jesus, studying His word, and sharing with Him in signs and wonders. We call this week Celebration 2008.
On Monday night we held a healing service. There was a man present named Todd who was wheelchair bound. I remembered Todd from last year because he was so unfriendly and angry (I think over the wheelchair issue).
This year he was the first to come forward out of the congregation seeking healing. The minister in charge prayed mighty prayers for Todd. His healing came in several phases.
At first he said the pain had left his body. Then he was able to stand without support. Next the minister asked him to start walking and he did. Slowly he began and the more he walked the stronger he became. The minister told him to walk around the outside walls of the auditorium we were meeting in. He did and before the evening was out he was running.
I personally have never seen anything like this in my entire life. I was dumbfounded and speechless. I could not explain what I had just witnessed except to say that Jesus healed this man.
Later in the week Todd was re-baptized and dedicated himself to God.
The next day a young lady about 20 years old who couldn't walk asked for healing. She was prayed for and miraculously healed like Todd. WOW! God is good and He makes all the difference is my life.
The rest of the week was filled with many other healings, too numerous to mention or list. I can only say these things really happened. They were not fake. I know the people involved and these were very real. God's holy power is beginning to rain down on all his created flesh in marvelous ways. Praise Jesus!
